Bigården Johannero

 

Efter nattens 36 mm nederbörd kommer nu vinbergssnäckorna fram. Överallt !

Man får se upp vart man sätter sina fossingar.

 

After last nights heavy rainfall , 36 mm in total, these escargot snails, or Burgundy snails, which we have plenty of in our garden, are creeping out from their covers in the stone walls. The stone walls surrounding part of the garden is a great hiding place for them during warm and sunny days and dry period of times.

This morning they were that plentyful that we had to watch our steps since we don´t want to step on them. Lovely creatures indeed.
